I'll be turning 16 next year, and I would love to own this car. Especially in black. I hear these cars are very reliable to maintain and are over all good cars. I know they tend to be real big gas guzzlers, but I know I won't be traveling that much. What do you think? Would this be a good option for me? What are the good qualities about it? I'm looking to getting about an '09 model at least. Please don't offer me any other options. I specifically just want to know details on the Ford Crown Victoria. Thank you. car insurance. Every time I take my gun somewhere ( when I'm not shooting) wether it's walking to the gun range, or putting the gun in the backseat of my car, people always freak out at me when I point my gun at them. Why does it matter? I always clean my gun, make sure it has no bullets in it, and put it on safe whenever I'm not shooting, so why does it matter if I accidentally point my gun at someone. I know that not everybody knows my gun isn't loaded, but even the people that I've explained to the percautions i've taken still freak out, and tell me that they will hit me if I point my gun at them again (it was on accident) why do they do this? car insurance. Saturn . How to Remove the Rear Brakes on a 2000 CamryThe Toyota Camry was originally developed in 1983 and made its US-built debut in 1988. It finally became the best-selling family car in America in 1997 and continues to hold that honor. The 2000 model has an upgraded interior and a revised styling, which are ideas that Toyota hopes will help it keep its number 1 title. The 2000 Camry sports a 2.2 L engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The brakes are disk on front and rear and should be changed twice a year or as needed. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Tire iron Jack stands Floor jack Wood blocks Socket wrench set Rope or twine C-clamp Step by Step : 1 Loosen the lug nuts. Using the tire iron, loosen each lug nut two full rotations. Put a wood block in front of each of the front tires. 2 Raise the car. Place the floor jack underneath a support strut and raise the vehicle enough to allow the tire to come off. Place a jack stand underneath the same support strut. 3 Remove the tire. Finish removing the lug nuts and take the tire completely off. Set the tire and the lugs aside. 4 Remove the brake mounting bracket. The brake mounting bracket is held on with two bolts that can be removed using the socket wrench set. Tie the bracket up to the undercarriage of the car to prevent strain on the brake line. The brake line is the black tube that protrudes from the rear of the bracket. 5 Remove the brakes. The brake pads will slip out of the mounting bracket. 6 Compress the brake cylinder. The brake cylinder can be compressed using the C-clamp. Place one of the old brake pads over the piston to allow better grip with the clamp. 7 Install the new brake pads. The new brake pads will slip into the same slot where the old ones were removed from. 8 Reattach the mounting bracket. The bolts can be retightened with the socket wrench. Reattach the wheel and lower the car. Repeat steps 1 through 8 for the other wheel.
Saturn . How to Remove the Rear Bumper of a 1998 Nissan AltimaYou can remove the rear bumper of your 1998 Nissan Altima for upgrade or replacement purposes. The bumper on the Altima mounts directly beneath the rear taillights, so you will need to remove the taillight assembly in the process. You can order a replacement bumper from an auto parts store or Nissan dealer. Many auto salvage yards also offer parts at a discounted price. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Socket and ratchet set Jack Jack stands Flat bladed screwdriver Step by Step : 1 Open the trunk and remove the nuts that secure each of the taillight assemblies using a socket and ratchet. Disconnect the wiring harnesses from each light by pulling them straight out. Remove the two taillight assemblies from the car. 2 Lift the rear end of the car using a jack and secure it on a set of jack stands. Make sure it is positioned high enough that you can comfortably work under it. 3 Remove the six retaining clips from the bottom lip of the bumper cover. There are two on each side of the bumper cover and two in the center. Pry the center of the clip outward using a flat bladed screwdriver and pull the center out to free the clip. 4 Remove the two bolts securing the rear of the bumper cover to the car using a socket and ratchet. The bolts are located inside the upper lip of the bumper cover, up against the car body on each side. Pull the bumper cover free from the car. Remove the foam insert from between the bumper cover and the bumper reinforcement. 5 Remove the six nuts on each side of the bumper reinforcement using a socket and ratchet. There are three nuts on each side of the reinforcement. Pull the bumper reinforcement free of the mounting bolts. 6 Mount the new bumper reinforcement and secure it with the retaining nuts. Tighten the nuts with a socket and ratchet. 7 Replace the foam insert inside the bumper cover and line the bumper cover up with the car body. Install the mounting bolts on each side of the bumper and tighten them with a socket and ratchet. Press the retaining clips back in place. The clips will press straight into the base on the bumper cover. 8 Raise the rear of the car with the jack and remove the jack stands. Lower the rear end of the car to the ground. 9 Insert the taillight assemblies into position and connect the wiring harnesses by pressing the connections straight into the sockets on the light assembly. Replace the retaining nuts to secure the assemblies in place. Tighten the nuts with a socket and ratchet. *Gear-type clamp Wire hose clamp Figure 14-8: Various types of hose clamps. Screw-type clamp It's impossible to tell someone in a book how tight or loose a clamp should be. If the clamp is so tight that it appears to be cutting into the hose, loosen it. If you can hear or see air or liquid escaping from the ends of the hose, the clamp should be tighter. Give the hose a tug to see whether it's secure, and check it again after you've run the engine to make sure that it isn't leaking. 5 1 A Part III: Keeping Your Car in Good Condition, System by System Replacing hoses The basic process of changing a hose is quite simple (see Figure 14-9), but there are differences depending on the type of hose you're replacing: 1. Wipe pipe end clean. 704

Based on nothing other than your brief description of your engine failure, I will explain 1 possible scenario. You may have had a... Chevrolet Express 1500 Cargo. * Figure 14-9: How to install a hose. If the hose is a vacuum hose: You'll find literally nothing in it. Just loosen the clamps, remove the hose, slide the new clamps on the new hose, slip the ends of the hose over whatever they connect to, and tighten the clamps. If the hose is a fuel hose: When the engine is shut off, most of the fuel flows back to the fuel tank. So you need only to stick the first end of the hose you remove into a clean can and allow whatever fuel remains in the hose to drain into it. When you finish the job, pour the fuel in the can back into your gas tank. (If you've managed to contaminate the fuel, put it into a container with a tight-fitting lid and take it to a toxic waste disposal center.) Obviously, you're not going to smoke while you do this job! Also, if any fuel leaks onto the ground, clean it up thoroughly and dispose of the rags immediately so that they won't be a fire hazard. . Chapter 14: Keeping Your Car from Getting Heartburn 2 1 C If the hose contains liquid under pressure: To prevent leaks, some manuals suggest putting a water-resistant sealant on the ends of the fittings to which the hose connects. Because these sealants tend to make the hoses difficult to remove when you need to replace them again, I suggest that you try it without sealant first. In most cases, if the hose is the right one and the clamps are on tight enough, you should be able to get by without it. If the hose leaks, you can always go back and use the sealant as recommended. If the hose is a radiator or heater hose: You'll need a bucket or pan that holds at least 2 gallons of liquid to catch the coolant and water that will run out of the system. Saturn . If you don't know why, see "Keeping coolant out of the mouths of babes and small animals" earlier in this chapter. If you haven't flushed your cooling system and replaced the coolant in the past year, do so at the same time you replace the hose. (See "Flushing Your System and Changing Your Coolant" earlier in this chapter for instructions.) Some newer engines have cooling systems that need to be bled (see Step 9 in the following list). If your engine falls in this category, the cooling system will contain special bleeder screws. If you're not sure what type of system your vehicle has, check the owner's manual or ask a mechanic before you undertake this job. Now follow these steps: 1. Remove the radiator cap and place the bucket or drain pan under the radiator drain valve (called the petcock). 2. Saturn . Can you drive a deceased persons car legally?
